Asking me to post up his resume. Cmon. we ALL know May's resume CRUSHES Pac's.

Anyone who says May could have done more.... like fight the guys PAC DID ?!?!?!
Why does Pac get a pass
Not one MFer EVER talks about all of the shlt guys he fought
Yet have the audacity to question May ?!?!?!?

I can't be disappointed in May's record when Pac is around. His will always be worse !
Defensive really? If you look back in this thread YOU brought up Manny. I dont need to bring him up to talk about Floyd.
This is your problem, Why do you have to keep interjecting Floyd into Mannys resume and his opponents? "He can beat him" type arguments are weak sauce and you can't see that?

Again, I question Floyd bc of things he has done in the past. If you have seen that one response back in the day abput fighting Cotto, floyds response was " He lives in Puerto Rico". Very annoying, and yeah I as a fan back then I was disappointed.

    Have a good day brother.

Another boxers 10yrs? One boxers prime be aged 22? Another’s aged 32? How can your prime if meaning at your very best not be equated to a single fight? If a fighter loses does that mean they weren’t in their prime? If everyone listed their opinions of fighters “primes”’ their would be no consensus. We all know how hard it is to make fights in boxing. How does one fighter manage to stay in his prime while also fighting all his opponents in their prime also?!! How do all these fights happen with both fighters around the same age? With all of them starting at the same weight to coincide with meeting at the same weight?
So is “prime” you at your best ever performance or is your “prime” the years you could have been at your best? See how annoying that is? A guy can be 30yrs old and way overweight and poorly training. Still that could have been where his physique and experience crossed to be potentially at his best just based on what we know about humans and sports science.
Staying in shape, making weight, lasting is part of boxing. Guys get punished for staying in better shape and training harder consistently than others? How do you stay in your prime while also fighting all your opponents in their prime also? Cause it’s so easy to make fights?!! Everyone’s the same age? Some fighters who are before or past their primes are still a lot better than fighters in their primes. Even if a guy fought every fighter in their “primes” there’s no way that all those fighters were even the most challenging option out there.
Go ahead and let someone define then write an algorithm if they think it’s so simple. A bit of an older example but I’ve said it before and I’ll say it again, kids today think Mike Tyson’s first name is “Prime”.
I agree with most of your post. Being prime is all about timing as well, and maintaining that level of momentum.
When discussing Prime and figuring exactly when it was for each individual fighter. It woyld be the easiest to determine when they are done and looking at the entire body of work. Imo.

I dont know my friend, Tyson before he became champ the very first time. His focus was straight laser. I love the Iron Mike with just a towel over his head.

May beat better opponents than Pac.
          Everything else is blatant fanboyism.

I had the video game, rented Tyson’s greatest hits several times. Big fan. The day after the Spinks fight I knew if Tyson smashed everyone it wouldn’t be good for boxing. I knew Ali’s needed their Frazier’s. ( not that I was around for them live ) I asked my Dad if anyone could beat Tyson? He said a guy named Evander Holyfield will. When they finally fought he would only take even money that Holy would win. He didn’t want to ruin anyones night.
The cream rises to the top. There’s a reason highlight reel kos slow down once fighters get to the pinnacle. I love Mike. I think he’s overrated as a fighter but not as an attraction. It’s prize fighting. People can pay to see who they want. He had style. He had the look. Being overrated is a great compliment. It means people liked to see you. He was never as skilled as so many fans wish he was. His jab, head movement, inside fighting, 4-5-6 punch combos all more myth than reality. There’s a reason why it was Mike Tyson who lost in one of the biggest sporting upsets in history. It wasent someone else.

Yes I agree 100% with this. Enough is enough. Both Pacquiao and Floyd are true ATGs of the sport. The rivalry is over. It's time for everyone to move on. Both Pacquiao and Floyd have moved on with their lives. Pacquiao will soon be president of the Philippines and Floyd is a successful entrepreneur/entertainer. Incredible. Great champions and even greater persons!

                • Well Larry, one of the biggest Floyd defenders on earth, never wanted to answer my question direct about how many prime all time greats did Floyd beat. They rather try to flip it to Manny, or how many b and c paper champs he beat, or what is the big deal about beating guys in their prime (lmao). Anything to sidestep the question.
Like it really pained him to admit that Floyd hadn't beat any, for whatever reason. Then I realized this is a plague amongst Floyd boys everywhere, so I figured I just make the thread put it on front street, so it can help them cope with the reality much better. Help em work out their frustrations.
