    Good Morning Friend! Good News:

JARON ENNIS SET FOR IBF FINAL ELIMINATOR, MARCH OR APRIL RETURN LIKELY

News has reached The Ring that rising star Jaron “Boots” Ennis has accepted an IBF welterweight final eliminator against an as yet unnamed contender and will likely fight somewhere around April or May.

Current IBF and WBC titleholder Errol Spence Jr. is tabbed to further unify when he faces WBA titlist Yordenis Ugas in the spring. However, it’s believed that if Spence wins, he may move on to the junior middleweight division.

Either way, Ennis, who is promoted by D&D Boxing’s Cameron Dunkin – famed for guiding the careers of Kelly Pavlik, Terence Crawford and Nonito Donaire – is in line to fight for a world title in the summer providing he comes through his next assignment.

Ennis, who was The Ring Prospect of the Year in 2020, enjoyed a strong 2021, impressively knocking out former IBF 140-pound kingpin Sergey Lipinets (KO 6) and long-time contender Thomas Dulorme (KO 1).

The 24-year-old Philadelphia-born fighter is now primed for the biggest year of his career to date.

Conor Benn does not have to face Avanesyan business wise, but? If he genuinely wants to prove that he is the best in Britain, before attacking fighters on the world stage 'He should face fighters like Avanesyan'

Benn has been saying he is the best in Britain, but I don't think he has any wins to prove this as of yet.

The clue is in the name. Prizefighting. Ben’s a bigger name even if that is more by virtue of his father. Buck stops there. Hearn’s job is to make him as much as possible just like Warren is doing for Avaneysan. Benn can earn more fighting people with a higher profile in the US. That’s it. Everything else is just smoke and mirrors.

Personally I think Benn knocks him out inside 6 if they do meet. His game has improved massively under Sims, he appears to be coming into his man strength and looks as sharp as a razor right now. His stalking and speed remind me a lot of his dad. His footwork and timing are looking great under Sims tutelage and bar Ennis, Spence and Crawford I think he beats anyone at the moment including Ortiz who has never impressed me that much.

Good morning sir! Something tells me that will be an excellent time for Spence to move up to light middle lol. Problem for all of them is Jarron will probably end up at super middleweight eventually….that is as long as he keeps winning. But his next fight will definitely tell us a lot

Ironically Warren blocked Benns chance to get the British by with holding his fighter from a pay day,

In theory he'd have to fight Brook and Khan as well to prove he's the best in Britain (I'm ignoring the point that Avenessayn is Russian).

The problem is all the best welters are American its the one division that's owned by the USA so pretty much pointless fighting Europeans as you'll get zero credit for it.

Warrens right, it would let everyone see where Benn is if they are being serious.

If he wants to make the fight, my offer is I’ll pay for my man. They’re happy with that, I’ll pay him really well for it, because for me it’s a great investment as far as a domestic fight in the UK, big fight that everybody knows.

“[Hearn] will have the privilege of promoting. He can put it on DAZN – not that that much people will be watching it.”

Warren says he'll pay Avanesyan and he can fight on DAZN.
