Can't really blame Casimero, Rigo did not come to fight, he ran and ran. No matter how offensively gifted you are, if a skilled defensive boxer decides to run and not engage, it will be a stinker of a match.

It's Russell who failed to make weight on the first try and there's talk of him going up in weight division...

He certainly can be blamed for having limited offensive skills and not being able to cut off the ring effectively. He’s not offensively gifted whatsoever. He has a mayorga style, just not nearly as good.

In terms of physical dimension, Magsayo is taller and has the longer reach. In terms of weight, they both belong to the same weight division but as what I pointed out, Russell is the heavier guy on his first try on the scales.

Honestly, I don't feel bad for Russell. Guy was milking his title reign with so much inactivity.

Glad to see a lil change up in the division! Mark is ok, he is not and will never be MP, no matter how much it’s pushed, it’s not ever happening.
He just needs to fight someone of his caliber, B to B+. We shall see

what happened on the scales the day before when it was less than a pound has no bearing on what their in ring weight was. Magsayo clearly rehydrated to more than Russell did. The guy looked like at least a junior welterweight.
