Okay gentlemen - and those who ain't - That time of year again. Hope that got your attention, but yes the NSB annual Pick Em compeititon does come with cash prizes...
$300 WINNER
$150 Second
$50 Third
Entry is absolutely free, gratis and comes with no strings, you wanna Pick once and never play again you lost nothing. Prizes courtesy of the Scene with big thanks to BIGPOPPAPUMP
Although honestly I doubt there's anyone only in it for the prizes. S'all about the bragging rights and having some fun watching the fights, bit of banter with like minded fight fans.... prove that you know your stuff and give you a reason to get excited about some of the matchups might have passed you by otherwise.
Ain't gonna lie, it's as much a test of stamina as skill... expecting to be covering maybe 75 - 100 fights this year depending on how things fall, maybe 6 to 8 a month and unless you got real flair missing more than 4 or 5 will probably put you out of the running for a top place.
So.. Okay technically we're already one fight in, Ortiz vs Martin was actually the first fight of the 2022 season but it absolutely ain't too late to join in and we're always on the lookout for new players.
You want to play or even thinking about giving it a shot head on over to this weeks' PIck Em thread stickied at the top of the NSB front page and post your Picks on this weeks' two biggest fights per the rules outlined - or just look at how other players have done it and work it out... ain't damn rocket science.
Hell, even if you ain't sure you wanna play for the full year you might as well Pick anyway, cos you lost nothing and if you do decide you want to carry on at least you won't have fallen behind. Okay that's enough of my sales bullchit, now get yourselves over and make some damn picks, show your fellow NSBers whether you got the knowledge to back up all that mouth.
