People forget Floyd is no fighter he's a tag artist guys like Floyd would get killed In a real fight because he won't have a ref and a thousand rules to save him where as guys like Canelo, Tyson Duran etc are real fighters who would literally kill someone with they're bare hands.

Floyd, and it's not really a debate.

Floyd boatraced EVERY opponent he faced- even if it took a rematch to do it.

Canelo has had plenty of close controversial fights that some folks think he actually lost and even had plenty of doubters in the one rematch he did.

But worst of all, Canelo really does the kind of cherrypcherrypicking that Floyd was unjustly accused of. You look at Floyd's resume and it's full of guys coming in off of knocking someone else out or off career performances. You look at Canelo's resume and there are too many guys coming off of losses or bad outings.

But, it'll be moot in a year or so. My prediction is in the next 2 or 3 Canelo fights, one of the cherrypicks will go horribly wrong- from Canelo's point of view of course.

How any grown man can sit there and say Floyd is better fighter than canelo is comical.Floyd in no damn fighter he's a tag artist he would lose horribly to half of the guys he out tagged in a real fight.

Now name Canelos opponents that rank in ability with any of the above, imagining they are all the same weight, its a mute argument unless you hypothetically make them all the same weight class.

Manny Oscar Mosley Cotto were all shopworn fighters by the time Floyd fought them. Marquez was a lightweight one fight prior. Thats not really too much to brag about.

Well said. Floyd diehards or Haymonites have created many copouts for him. Canelo has broken his hands too as did Floyd. The apparent difference is grit. Nobody atm can emulate Canelo even if they wanted to. It’s risky. You can get knocked trying to do his offensive defense. That’s why Canelo style atm is more predatory than Gaystyle hoping that Kenny Bayless helps you every moment. Floyd’s style is just hop around the ring and keep the distance whenever possible
