The weight bully Donaire still beating up on smaller fighters, good for him. Move up just 4lbs and he’s just another guy

He was good at 122 too. Some boxers are more bullies than others.

He is making weight without performance enhancing drugs. It gets harder to make weight as you get older. He is doing it without compromising his effectiveness. This is his natural fighting weight. It's not like he fades in later rounds. He doesn't look dead on his feet at weigh ins.

A LOT of fighters can move up 4-5lbs and become just another guy. That isn't how boxing works though. You try to fight in the weight class you are most effective in. Thus why a lot of them kill themselves down to make weight. While the weight killing sucks for them, once they're at the weight, typically they're most effective. If that same guy decided to just say f**k making weight, I'm fighting at my natural walk around weight, he'll probably get killed by the opposition that stands in that division. That is just the name of the game.

Donaire isn't the only boxer doing this... Just because his "frame" looks bigger than the guys he's facing, in the end, both made weight. In fact, has Donaire ever come in heavier than the contracted weight? Ever? I know some in the past did this intentionally for exploitation due to the amount of weight they can gain over night (Gatti, 20lbs), but Donaire doesn't put THAT much more on over night...

I like Donaire, when in his prime he was great, but I find it hard to believe boxers especially in the lower weight classes getting better in their late thirties without out some kind of juice. As Joe ***** would say “Come on man”.

Although he cucked out of the Casimiro fight. With a win or another close loss he will definitely earn his spot in the HOF.
Imagine thinking a four division champion with the resume nonito has isn’t an absolute lock for the hof.

I'll add to this the fact that Donaire said he can make 115 lbs and is considering doing that to face Chocolatito, Estrada, etc.

lol so he was past prime years ago, frampton, walters and magdelenas wins totally discredited but cause he gave the forums golden boy a tougher than expected fight (noone had given him a chance before hand) now hes suddenly discovered the elixir of youth and back in his prime. didnt realise being past prime was a fluctuating thing, either you are or you arent, cant just say he was for years then say now hes back near prime again lmao, this forum is ****ed up
