Comments Thread For: Fury-Whyte: Hearn Feels March Date is Starting To Look Unrealistic

Eddie Hearn, who promotes heavyweight contender Dillian Whyte, says a showdown with WBC world champion Tyson Fury is looking more unlikely, with each passing week, to take place in the month of March - if a deal is struck.

This fight is not going to draw outside the UK. White is unknown in the US. Wilder at least had some draw here

Maybe Hearn thinks that if AJ loses against Usyk and Usyk will fight against Fury for the undisputed title then Whyte can get a shot for the undisputed title with the winner of Fury vs Usyk.

The titles get defended so little nowadays they are becoming irrelevant, might as well consider the the top heavyweight as being the guy with the best resume.

It's always unrealistic if the fighter fights less than 6 month's after his last fight. Hearn likes Joshua to fight once a year, they'll push Usick vs Joshua 2 out to June or July

Don't care about any of this nonsense. Wake me up when the contracts are signed. Of not for the BS, Fury and AJ would've happened before the arbitration. Idgaf what the split is. All I know is they changed that rule so going by the fight purses, this should be signed already and promoted for March. But no, our boxing fans are the only ones that make articles about negotiations, and fans actually eat it up. I didn't read any of the article because it's not signed yet.

Ugh Hearn is so horrible for the heavyweight division. More concerned with blocking fights rather than making fights. AJ could have fought for undisputed by now. Matchroom gotta go

"It won't get in the way of the fight"

Then why are you talking about April and May? Literally holding up the fight and still acting like it's everyone else's fault lol
