lay off him you have been attacking him all day.lol....... That sig is hilarious though. He was hurt and still DAZED. He hugged it out for more time. That was the first time he was ever solidly cracked in his professional career and at the stage one more clean hit of Linares and it was nighty night. Having said that Haney boxed beautifully that night he dominated Linares for 9 rounds like noone else has(boxing wise) The remaining 3 rounds he just hugged it out and survived by any means necessary

Nah, you just need a reminder of just how good Spence really is, is all.
Spence 100% could give Canelo hell. Not sure he outright beats him though but at 160, definitely has a better shot than anyone since GGG.Comment

That's crazy talk, no one has seen Spence against a top fighter at 154, let alone Canelo at 160. It'll just be Canelo/Khan GGG/Brook all over again.Comment

Spence is big af. He's 5'10 and generally walks around 170+.
He can 150% fight at 160 and give Canelo hell simply because of his style. GGG gave Canelo hell with the same kind of, always in danger area, way of fighting. Difference is, Spence isn't open, he has a very air tight game, add Spence's 72" reach. It's a recipe for a true boxing fan kind of fight.
I don't know if he would outright win but he's going to give him hell. I really believe that.
I also only throw out 160 because that's the weight Spence said he'd fight at. I don't think a 160 fight would be possible on Canelo's part but that's what Spence said.Comment

They said Kell Brook walked around 180 so he wasn't going to be much smaller than GGG. Yet when they fought, GGG felt none of Brook's 147 lb punches, but Brook felt all of GGG's 160 lb punches because he never fought at middleweight.

Canelo would never go back down to 160, but even when Canelo/GGG were fighting, there's not a chance in hell Spence would beat Canelo and I'm a huge Spence fan. Weight classes exist for a reason, and it takes time to acclimate. We probably won't even see Spence fight for a title at 154.Comment

For me Kambosos, he gets SO much props for that Teo win, but I need to see him rubber stamp that win before I can be sure he wasn't just in the right place at the right time.Comment

Gotta go with Benavidez as well. I don't know what people see in him. Sure he's got hand speed but he just squares up plodding forward throwing wide hooks from the waist. Meh. 10 punch combos look good against negative journeymen with high guards but who at the top level is going to sit there and absorb all that?
Dirrell was not a journeyman. You act as if fighters have a choice to absorb it or not vs a fighter that just walks them down with great cardio. They have no choice. Benavidez is actually underrated.
Canelo is the most overrated. Has not fought a single elite fighter in their prime, just old men, and the last top fighter he fought was GGG where he lost. His career is smoke and mirrors. He is good but not great.Last edited by Oracle01; 01-17-2022, 09:48 PM.Comment
