Comments Thread For: Leo Santa Cruz: After This Fight As Long Everything Goes Good, My Next One Will Be At 126

Leo Santa Cruz doesn't foresee any issues in returning to the featherweight division. The reigning WBA "Super" featherweight titlist has a plan in place to make his way back down to a weight that he has not seen since 2019. His only request was to take one more fight at junior lightweight, where he will return for a scheduled 12-round clash with Phoenix's Keenan Carbajal on February 5 at Michelob ULTRA Arena in Las Vegas.

Why even try? Seems like 130 is about as far as LSC should go? Colbert, Valdez, Shakur, Navarette, all good fights!

well he would lose all of them is one reason not to try. then again he might make good money in losing, then again part 2 he prob makes good money doing nothing at 126 so might as well have a chance at winning and make money instead of being a human punch bag for bigger fighters

thi9s is the guy gervanta braggs about? It is clear he was way above his natural class when the fight happen. Gervanta is a joke and a well worked fake. Boxing died many year ago as a sport. Nobody cares anymore except for mexicans ... hahahaha

Lsc is is old, shop-worn, slow and “pillow-fisted” at ANY weight. Take your big ppv check pbc gifted You for that weak ppv mismatch with Davis and retire already.

Yea your absolutely correct he made his career feasting Mexicans. But they were " past their prime " Mexicans . The only " in their prime " Mexican he fought, he lost to . That was Jose Luis Castillo. Got his a_s_s handed to him. At best he won 4 rounds. Most had him winning 2-3 rounds. Robbery? That was one of boxing's classic robberies.

Gary Russell Jr has called him out for years. He has a title. They are both with PBC.
