but at the same time, besides loma, what other fights are out there for him at 130 at top rank
Loma doesn't have a fight scheduled so that's the whole point, no one should be starting from a place of "besides Loma..." when it comes to discussing the fights Top Rank should make in that weight neighborhood. 5 pounds is nothing. Stevenson is actually bigger than Lomachenko. They are only at different weight classes so Boxing can sell more watered down crap fights like this while waiting to make bigger fights (or never making them).

Really good fight if either one of them doesn't pull out.

About damn time! Thanks Bob! Make It Happen, before Shakur follows Navarette and Crawford out the door!

The question is, if Colbert wins, and Shakur wins, will we get that unification fight? Prudential Center in Newark would be on fire!

This is a good fight, and long overdue! If Loma does not fight Kambosos next, he's in position to fight Kambosos vs. Haney winner because he's #1 in both the WBC and WBO rankings. So Loma is good, let Shakur eat first, then move him to 135, when Loma has a belt! If Loma wants to stay active, let him fight Berchelt @ 135, or WBC #2 Ryan Garcia.

May be a case of too much too soon for Stevenson. Salido made his fight ugly vs. Loma who had all the advantages lost. Pro experience may well be a factor in Valdez favor.
Let's hope, otherwise it will be that less intriguing.

I didn't know Navarette left Top Rank. When did that happen?
