The left knocked Hopkins through the ropes. Maybe that accounts for the perception. He has power in both hands, though.

According to his Boxrer, he is 31 and has never stepped up his competition. Still fighting soft touches. There’s a reason for that.

I love a good upset, but I expect Smith to punch him to out of the ring within 4 rounds.

Geffrard is a slickster with a height and reach advantage over Smith. This could be an unexpectedly difficult fight for Joe if he finds himself unable to land cleanly and often enough on Geffrard. I have no idea what kind of chin Geffrard has, but he doesn’t seem worried about power punchers because apparently he’s been sparring with Beterbiev and Kovalev…..Hmm,……
