    Canelo’s New Golf Addiction

He reported it himself as “an addiction”. Citing he played a little bit before a fight or 2. Now he’s playing is the US Am Golf.
Does anyone think this could be a spiraling effect?
Meaning he either loses bc he’s too focused on golf, or he decides he’s had enough of boxing.
Nelo said he hits balls for at least 3 hours a day, works different muscles, but that’s a lot of time!

Wait.... Canelo is the defacto industry gym rat. He carries his mitts and sneaks everywhere he goes. If yout think 3 hours a day of fresh air while meditating stiff coordination is a hinderance youre dead wrong... Manny would spend 2 hours on average playing basketball. Thats a higher risk for injuries while still boxing...

An addiction has potential to increase over decrease. I see what you are saying though

He will never be good enough to make anything of it so it won't have an effect on his career. It will give him something to do every day when he retires though . Golf is a great sport to test your patience that's for sure . I've broken more clubs then I can count at this point and I'm a low single digit handicap

If he had previously used those three hours to prepare for his fights, then it will definitely have a negative effect. How did he use those three hours previously? If it takes away from his training routine for a fight, then it will affect him.

No hinderence at all. It's actually a great way to release some stress and clear your mind...frustrating asf when you start shanking shiet left and right. From what I've read,he's actually pretty good like most top athletes for the most part. After his boxing career is over he"ll more than likely attempt a serious run at golf. He"ll have a good 12yrs or so to compete so it wouldn't surprise me if he has some success as his dedication is second to none.

I’d be willing to bet he doesn’t have 4-5 years left in boxing

Lol. 15 fights from now is great. Hes already a first ballot HOF and soon ATG. He'll probably still be around while Loma, Usyk, Crawford, Spence...all retired. youre usually a Canelo hater so your fantasy to want a hinderance isnt surprising
