Floyd Mayweather is in a NO Win situation...

Let's be honest here. If Floyd goes out there and totally destroys Marquez the Floyd Mayweather haters will say that Marquez was way too small and Floyd won't get any credit whatsoever. If Marquez manages to give Floyd a fight but loses a decision people will mock Floyd for not knocking a smaller man out. He's basically in a no won situation here. And god forbid that Marquez wins a decision or actually stops Floyd he'll be mocked forever on these boards. I actually think that Floyd is gonna totally dominate Marquez and knock him out or it will be a TKO. Don't get me wrong.. Marquez is a great fighter and a P4P fighter but he stands way too straight up and down with little head movement. Plus he looked pretty slow against Juan Diaz and Diaz was hitting him at will. We'll see though.. What are your thoughts?

i agree he will not be given full credit and honestly dont think he should.. floyd has so much boxing ability that he should be held to a higher standerd then other less skilled boxers. if he really believes that he is so great and cant be beaten prove it against a real threat like mosley clottey cotto ect... if he wins against a real ww like those guys i think he silences the critics and proves his greatness

Well that's his problem, If he would have fought Mosley, Cotto, or Margarito in the last 2 years then he wouldn't have to worry about it would he?

That's what happens when you drag up a just turned lightweight who's older, slower, and weaker than yourself.

If he dominates Marquez but doesn't KO him, I don' think people will bash him that bad. But if he wants to play with the bargaining chips for his next fight, I believe he has to KO Marquez to make a statement.

He's never in a winning situation. His defense is superb and isn't appreciated. No matter who he beats, rather they are or will be top opponents or not, there is always a but...I'm sure there are many boxers even elite that would rather be in his shoes, despite of what the critics and boxing fans say.

He doesn't get credit regardless of who he fights, I can guarante if he we're fighting Shane, Cotto, or Pac, they would be creating "buts" and "excuses" to explain away a potential Mayweather victory.
