Comments Thread For: Amir Khan On Choosing Sky Over DAZN: I Want More Eyes, More Viewership

The 'King' ALWAYS gets what he wants, unlike that useless Euro-Bum Kell Brook, who turned on Eddie Hearn because Matchroom failed to get Crawford-Brook on SKY and instead the Brits were forced to stream Kell on FITE TV in the UK.

Amir Khan gets his way : the fights he wants, the big-purses, PPV and the network of his choice.

Khan probably made the right choice. People tend to underestimate the sway Sky holds as a sports broadcaster in general in the UK.

It’s a no brainer to go to Sky over DAZN. I hate Sky but they dominate the TV industry over here. A lot of current Matchroom fighters will follow suit and leave Hearn for Shalom in the near future. It’s like history repeating itself when many of Warren’s fighters were leaving him for Hearn cause of the pull of Sky.

They offered it to Hearn he turned it down.

(He may regret that now as apparently its selling well)

He didn't get what he wanted with the McCloskey fight. Sky told him to do one.

Scheduling were out of SKYSPORTS hands due to the intricate rights deals involving Real Madrid vs Barcelona football match. The 'King's' demands were not met and he dumped SKY for Primetime. But now Amir returns and got Kell Brook back on the stage that ones valued him, Brook owes Amir Khan bigtime.
