Which just means to me these guys are ready and have no problem crossing the street.
Bits and pieces like these put some things in perspective.
Boxing fans have Al to thank for his fighters turning down fights. Hes their manager, not promoter remember. When it suits him does he allow hjs stable to fight somewhere else.

Hate to break the news to people but there are no PPV stars except Canelo and he doesn't sell like he used to either and nowhere close to what the big names used to years ago.

People steal the feeds and watch for free or people like me who used to watch with a bunch of people haven't got together because of the whole Covid nonsense the last few years. I have only bought one PPV over the last couple years and that was Crawford vs Porter

I will not pay $75 for fights I can almost guarantee who the winner will be. Plus basically every fight is on youtube the next morning so I watch them anyway before I even find out the results

You are correct. Polar opposites in terms of being big names.
That said, people tend to forget many big fights that never got made because of whatever reasons while they accuse one entity.

PBC would gladly put Spence or Crawford against some unheralded Latinos and charge you $80 though.

It is just a fiction that Terence Crawford is not a PPV star. If you look at Errol Spence Jr. and his fights , his opponents Kell Brook after he had defeated Sean Porter , Sean Porter , Danny Garcia , Mikey Garcia. All former champions and PVP draws in their own rights. Crawford did not have that same quality of opposition , when he fought Khan , Brook they were considered to be washed up despite being former champs. That isn't Crawford's fault , you have to blame the promoter for not getting him the opponents who could add to the fan base along with his own fans for a successful PPV . His job is to fight well and his stature among the top P4P fighters speaks to that. You can't tell me that people don't want to see one of the best vs one of the top P4P fighters on PPV. Nobody seriously believed any of Bud's opponents really had a chance to give him a good fight let alone defeat him. That doesn't make for good PPV numbers. Blame his promoter for not getting him the level of opposition required to make big PPV numbers , don't blame Crawford.

I know it was sarcasm but I also was able to see the flawed point that sarcasm of that type is aiming to make. The point is basically that racism doesn’t even really exist. And when someone mentions it that they’re “playing the race card”. But Bob Arum’s big mouth and what has come out of it might have already proven otherwise in this instance. Actually talking bad about his own fighter to the media shows some kind of bias. Racial or otherwise. He’s never done it before and his comments have been used by others in the boxing business to detract from Crawford’s business leverage in the sport. What you say might be true though because when Crawford gets in front of a judge he is more than likely to face more racial bias. All other ethnicities of Americans want to pretend that racism is non existent and that the history of this country is of really being the home of the brave and the land of the free. So they hate it when black people mention the obvious about how prevalent anti-black racism is in this society.

Just do t force everything into sore conceived narrative. You’re blaming Spence and Crawford hasn’t even decided to sign with pbc.
The fact that you even mention Crawford not deciding to sign to PBC “yet” (as if thats a negotiating point to make the fight)lets us know that the Spence supporters are looking at this more than just being about who is the best fighter out of the two. Y’all actually want Al Haymon and PBC to get some kind of a win out of this too. I don’t know why anyone even cares about any of that.

The videos the guy was referring to was about PBC being broke.
It got nothing to offer to many of its inactive fighters.
He gave Ruiz, Helenius as examples. Which made sense to me
because Arum mentioned those two names just recently.
