Here’s my question? How does one promote a black fighter? How do you promote a Latino fighter? How do you promote a white fighter ? An Asian fighter?

is there a different way you’re supposed to promote someone based on the color of their skin? I’m really curious.

under Top Rank Bud has fought just about every nationality there is, he’s fought on PPV, he’s fought in his hometown, he’s fought in some of the best arenas in the US, he’s fought in the UK, he’s been given title shots, become undisputed & he’s been paid very for match ups that had little to no demand from fans.

what more could Top Rank have done for him? They can’t force other promoters to work with them to make fights for him. Part of the reason he didn’t get those fights was the fact that PBC was purposely freezing him out. Did everyone forget how guys like Danny, Thurman & Spence all used to proudly say that they didn’t need Crawford, Crawford needed them? That he was on the wrong side of the street? How PBC used to and still to this day pretends that he doesn’t exist & doesn’t ever mention him as a champion when speaking of ww champions?

if he wanted to sue Bob he should sue him for defamation. If he could prove that he did in fact make money for Bob and disprove bobs claim that they lost money on his last few fights, I think he’d have something.

sounds to me like no one is sending Bud any offers and he’s trying to pin it on Bob for saying he’s a money pit. But if you think other promoters are just taking bobs word and not doing their own research you’re just as naive as Bud. Eddie Hearn said himself he wasn’t interested in Bud & you’d think he’d be desperate to sign someone of his caliber. Maybe Bud needs to look himself in the mirror and ask himself why no one wants to promote him

The way Arum treats black Dominican republic fighters is a joke too. I mean they were hyping up Elvis Rodriguez then he lose MD to Kenneth Sims fighter from Chicago and he gets released from his contract and Carlos Adames who narrowly lost to teixeira for interim title that if he won would've been elevated to titlelist he got dropped and lost split decision and he was shown the door at top rank. Those just 2 recent examples.
