He might have squandered his talent a bit, but at least he had a lot of fun along the way, harassing and abusing homeless people and **********s, getting busted for PEDs, giving his old woman the good news whenever she gave him a bit of lip etc. Class act all the way.Comment

I has quite a big BJS fan but now that the smoke on his career has cleared and I look back over his victories, I can see that he was not really all that amazing. His career is a fair account of his abilities. He was not generational or anything like that but a guy blessed with a lot of elite level traits but doesn't quite compare to recent British greats. Was an impressive career and he was an impressive fighter, that's about all you can say.
As for his behavior out of the ring. Britain has a problem with it's young men from poor backgrounds acting like that. It's a nation-wide problem. You saw it with Josh Taylor getting into a fight with a bouncer. Thousands of incidents like that happen all over he UK every weekend, it's normal. I've always thought there is no way to solve it other than sending them to the army. Modern society is just too soft and gentle for them so they get bored and act up.Comment
