On a side note, can I be sure you’re not saying Canelo’s not culpable here? You haven’t taken the contaminated meat story?

That’s my point. This is about whose reputation will, or even can, be laundered, and why? We might be looking back in 4-5 years with Miller’s drug abuse all forgotten about by the boxing world (if not the fans), but when he first popped, he was persona non grata, even though the likes of Ortiz were just ambling about.
TLDR: If it’s commercially expedient to do so, Miller’s drug abuses will be ignored like the boxers I’ve mentionedLast edited by P to the J; 01-12-2022, 01:11 AM.Stuart Chandler likes this.

Canelo tested positive for a banned substance that is often abused by athletes cutting weight. He also had no business having it in his body, especially when he ate the alleged "meat" a month before he tested positive. Clenbuterol is not an anabolic but has anabolic capabilities.

Has Canelo ever tested positive for an Anabolic? It falls in line with meldonium it was legal at one point and now it's not where's the fine line that makes it right and wrong? Just because it's now on a list when before it wasn't? Most people on this forum are too dumb or playing ****** when they fail to acknowledge that there are all these designer drugs that aren't banned yet and have their chemistry rearranged but still produce the same outcome. So if it's legal and not banned yet it's ok to take even if it still enhances performance, but as soon as it gets signed on the list it's the biggest PED on the market lmao. Didn't RJJ test positive from supplements? Didn't James Toney test positive for an Anabolic that he said he was taking for a bicep injury? Didn't Mickey Bey set the record for having the most testosterone known to man in Nevada?
Yes. I am well aware of designer drugs. The thing with designer drugs is that most are not that new. They are just drugs that were developed previously that never made it to the market for one reason or another. Usually, it was due to not being safe or having other drugs being more effective. Doesn't matter anyway because those with the money will get the drugs that are easy to escape testing, such as GH and testosterone (btw: GH is hella unsafe and leads to more deaths than most other drugs; it will catch up to a person).
The problem is that Roy Jones is not fighting anymore. James Toney is not fighting anymore. Bey is not fighting anymore. Also, when Jones and Toney fought, the drug testing was terrible and everyone was using at that point. We started developing anti-doping agencies and more stringent rules to get that **** under control. So pointing out what happened in the past to justify what's happening now is a dumb excuse. In Nevada, people used to pull up on you and shoot you in the face with little or no repercussion. By your reasoning, that should still be going on. (Actually, it still does in Nevada lol. Every time I go there, crazy **** is happening; shootouts at the ATM, **** like that.)
Anyway, pointing out others who cheated doesn't justify continuing to cheat. That's the worst reasoning I've ever heardCanelo has put on so much muscle lately that it's ridiculous, and the fact that he was going to move up to cruiserweight says everything we need to know about whether he's still doping or not.
Canelo is a drug cheat and it's helped him to continue winning his fights. I know it hurts. But the sooner you accept it the better.

You also talk about Canelo putting on muscle like if people can't do that naturally he is an athlete after all, when have you ever seen Canelo out of shape in between fights? So 10-20 lbs of lean mass over time is nothing out of the ordinary until he tests positive for HGH, EPO, or an ANABOLIC steroid you can keep telling yourself whatever you want as to why he keeps beating your favorite fighters. If he put on so much mass how is it that he hasn't failed a test lately? If he was Clenelo he would still be ingesting clenbuterol and would come out dirty right? Name your top 5 favorite fighters high chance that one of them has tested positive for something worse than Canelo.
