Go read up before you offer your uneducated guesses. The doctor who treated Lopez after the fight said he could have died. The physical conducted before the fight could not have detected the condition and they brushed it off as being asthma symptoms.

Why do you assume this was prior to the fight?

Maybe he got effed up during the fight?

Again, read the stories for change. Lopez had a tear in the oesophagus and air was getting into places where it shouldn't be and causing all kinds of pain and pressure. Had it going into the fight but everybody thought it was his asthma.

I like Kambosos Jr and he definitely needs to ride the wave of success he has earned. However, I don’t think he is big enough for a stadium fight.

Most Australians had never heard of him until after he won and boxing does not have a big following. A lot of the fights put on are between rugby players.

Jeff Horn sold out the Suncorp only because he fought Pacquiao. Likewise he got a decent crowd when he boxed Tim Tsyzu.

Unless he was fighting a well known Australian I can’t see it doing big number.

Not many Australians outside of hardcore boxing fans will know Haney, Tank, Garcia or even Loma.

Also outdoor conditions in Sydney or Melbourne are not favourable in May.

I hope to be proven wrong though, although I think he ought to aim for filling an indoor arena ~20k.

Could have, should have, would have. Given his asthma and also having covid, he should have been thoroughly checked out. Brushing something off as whatever is on them. He still fought. Still lost. No excuses.

Thus the need for the right opponent! Loma seems the better choice if the goal is to fill the stadium.

lol Well, I'm from Canada and I am a big fan of his, love his attitude, his determination and his workmanship, and I wish him all the best! He deserves a big fight in his home country, and I hope he makes a ton of cash, takes one or 2 big fights after that, and in the end retires in good health.

For the rest, we too are governed by a bunch of idiots, so I feel for you. We let the vulnerable elderly die, and vaccinated and masked healthy children... We killed small businesses and fed Pfizer and Amazon instead. We let rich hockey players live their life and confined the hard working middle class. Yep! And saying this apparently makes me a conspiracy theorist. What an era...

His best bet is fighting Haney. Bigger money with Loma but he gets outclassed and possibly stopped
