    Don't do it, Jake.
Whatever flaws he has, and there are plenty, Chavez Jr. is an established professional boxer who's been in there with legit world class competition. It would be a mistake to fight someone like this at this juncture.
You've got bigger money fights elsewhere that also offer you a reasonable step up in competition, without practically guaranteeing a loss, as this one will right now.
    Pass on Chavez.

Between 168 and 200, the three most high profile fighters are Canelo, Chavez Jr, and Kovalev. Danny Jacobs might be better but he’s not as well known. There’s slim pickings out there for Jake.

You want to see him lose so bad that you're not satisfied with him stepping up dramatically and facing a 50 fight veteran to see if he can even do what Silva did. Surely, a novice boxer like Jake Paul is entitled to facing a past his prime boxer who has far more experience than him and still get some credit for stepping up, rather than poo-poo-ing the idea and insisting he fights Silva instead because Silva beat JCC.

You do realize that Tommy Fury and his representatives WOULD NEVER have him step up that much in only his 7th fight, considering the bums he has been fed. So even on that front, a Tommy Fury has to eat his words.
Stop smoking crack jcc jr is a bum of all bums greatest blessing ever if he wont the son of a legend hed be a journeyman. Dude doesnt prep for real fights which means for a jake paul fight all he gonna be doing is celebrating like mardi gras on a binge then show up in horrible shape physically n mentally looking to no mas and collect a check and party some more
