This situation can turn political real quick! Whyte will use a curveball within the next week and claim the purse bid is based on racial discrimination, prompting media networks to quickly get involved forcing Bob to adjust the split 65/35.... Bob will them clarify not being racist having successfully promoted fighters like Bradley and Crawford!Comment

And since you are all about RULES explain to me what a "interim" Champion is?Comment

No, it hasn't been settled. There's an appeal.going forward, isn't there? WBC should just re-rule at 70/30, as that's within their rules and set the date for purse bids. Whyte doesn't want to move forward they can remove him as mandatory.Comment

interim championship - When the champion of a particular weight division is temporarily unable to defend his championship because of medical, legal, or other reasons that are beyond the competitor's control.
Don't sound that "TEMPORARY" to me???
And what the HECK is a "VACANT" one???
And how the HELL you lose it then be able to fight AGAIN for it??? Does it stay 100% now days??? Just keep rematching for it???Comment

You are correct. I just don't get how guys can keep losing the "Interim Belt" and keep fighting for it??? Once it's LOST it should STAY lost. Or once the REAL champ is back get rid of the sht and put him as the #1 Mando. If he loses then NEXT!!! Like it should be.Comment

Only in boxing can a guy go 1-1 and still be an "Interim Champ"...Which is SUPPOSED to be "TEMPORARY" until the REAL Champ is back.Comment

The ruling goes against the general WBC rules, which allows for a 55/45 split between its world champion and interim titlist though with room to adjust to as high as 70/30 under the sanctioning body’s own review.Comment
