Spence never wanted the Crawford fight anyway so it doesn't matter -
TBH if the fight doesn't happen I wouldn't care much.
Im not interested in Spence / Ugas either.
From the PBC guys the only one I'd be interested in watching fight Spence is Thurman.
I wouldn't mind seeing Crawford vs Ortiz .

its like current 175, top dogs looking at each other, spence looks like damaged goods now & im sure something will happen to one of the guys at 175 to cause people to lose interest in that fight too, these fights should happen when guys are going well and the interest is high, wait & its usually not the same, its a flaw in boxing matchmaking that ufc just does so much better in that regardComment

In that interview,Smith says that it's not going to happen because of the economics of it due to "the high purse" Crawford would demand but admits he doesn't know what # is because they haven't even reached out to Crawford!?!? Then proceeds to say all "us fans" wouldn't support the ppv and just "steal" it which is complete horse****!.
These are the exact type of fights most of us fans expect and WILL support on PPV,not these Arreola vs Ruiz's or Thurman vs Barrios **** shows. I'm confident that Spence vs Crawford can/would generate 500k-600k buys with a decent amount of promotional push,give that extra push and who knows what it can do. 500K buys with gate and the likes,seems more than enough to compensate both Spence and Bud.Last edited by Sctrojan; 01-09-2022, 03:00 PM.Comment
