Fighters had to earn title shots by beating other good fighters. Now they can just have a flashy undefeated record, KO a bunch of no hopers, and beg for a title shot and get it. This guy, with that resume, actually held a title. Which is crazy. But that’s boxing today. And many fans condone it.

There's no point for Canelo to fight you. AT this stage in his career Canelo has nothing to prove to anyone. He is about the Big Payday fights now. I believe a fight with you will not not be a big draw for ppv. You said you've been on ppv fight. Where you the mainevent or the undercard? I'd rather see Canelo fight Charlo or a 3rd GGG fight than watch you get embarrassed against him.

Unfortunately for David, he has nothing Canelo either needs or wants. He can become mandatory and hope for the best but Canelo literally does what he wants at this point like the other megastars before him.

Benevidez did this to himself. He has nothing right now but a big mouth trying to lure Canelo into fighting him. No titles, failed drug tests and weight limits has been his downfall and he thinks he is entitled to a fight without one signature win.

The other 168 had belts even though their level of competition wasn't that great either.
