Let's talk about Usyk vs a prime klitschko

Of course we all heard how Usyk "bossed klitschko" in sparring

    But

That was in 2015 the year Fury "bossed klitschko" in a fight so we know klitschko was certainly not in his prime, and besides that it's sparring.

It remains an interesting match up though

Let's take 2009 Klitschko who dominated prime David Haye vs the Usyk who dominated prime AJ

Klitschko was a lot lighter on his feet than the rigid AJ, and knew how to utilise his long jab while leaning back keeping out of range of the shorter fighter, Haye was also lighter on his feet than Usyk but more of a pot shotter.

12 rounds, how you see it?

Style wise, I have to go with Usyk easily.

I think Wlad keeps him behind the jab and mauls him up close, lands the odd big right hand to keep Usyk honest.

Wlad wide on points. AJ is a very poor man's Klitschko nowadays and he still won a fair few rounds.

I would have to agree with this. Klitschko could do everything Joshua could but had quicker feet, a better jab and knew how to clinch and "big man" his way through fights. Haye and Povetkin couldn't do anything vs klitschko, I don't think Usyk would either.

            I dunno for sure.

What Wlad fight did Wlad put out the most in? I mean highest workrate?

I don't want to call him slow because his handspeed was pretty good actually, but his pace was slow. By my memory.

He didn’t put out for anyone this isn’t this kind of place so work rate isn’t something we wouldn’t want to see ,maybe you do ?

Maybe if you punctuate that I'd understand what you're trying to say but I doubt it, given the double negatives.

Kiltschko was a extremely accurate and efficient puncher, once he committed to a attack there was a 90% chance that the attacks were all going to land.

Kiltschko at his peak and even just after his peak, had immense footwork and control of distance. He is going to be first establishing his Jab vs Usyk 'Then everything else will follow' round after round, Usyk is being hit.

People are seemingly, overlooking how busted up Usyk was against Joshua. Joshua tried to be all smart and out boxed Usyk, which he did not quite do 'But he did win some rounds, and he did inflict some damage'.

Kilschko can fight that kind of fight better than Joshua, and will most likely just inflict too much damage on Usyk.

Kiltschko maybe has marginally greater punching power than Joshua , with his best single punch and jab 'But Joshua has more devastating combinations, which he never implemented against Usyk'.

I think even the Wladimir Kiltschko that fought Joshua would beat Usyk 'Usyk beat a regressed Joshua, fighting and training in a repressed state'.
