He was in the corner when Ugas upset Pacquiao and when Carlos Adames beat Derevyanchenko. Also trains Joe Joyce as well as several others.

The promoter's choice for Xander Zayas', last opponent of the year, killed any chance for him to earn Prospect of the Year Award 2021.
They should have rematched him with Jose Luis Sanchez, or some other fighter of that caliber, that would've tested him to a certain degree.
Lets see what route Top Rank chooses to take Xander on in 2022, his opponent's have to better than 2021, which left a lot to be desired.
I know he's still very young, but they have to develop him properly, in order for him to become a well rounded fighter, ready for anything.
