i guess the colombian style just ****ed with mijares..
yo hyp.. my mom told me that he saw mijares later on sayin on televisa that he is retiring..
-_-
So a couple close losses to an undefeated prospect relegates a boxer to journeyman status. No contender status until he loses to lesser comp.?
Damn. This **** needs to change.
Losing to Darchinyan (who recently lost, giving his reputation a much needed push back down to Earth) and then an untested, undefeated prospect, who reports say doesn't even look that good beating him twice seems to be a death sentence from his contendership.
Would YOU be okay with it if anyone champion fought him for their title and put him in the role of "contender"? I sure as **** wouldn't... because there are twenty people more deserving of a shot than him at the moment.

Its a shame but it really just seems like Cristian is done. It sucks. Watching him last year I was convinced that he was in the top 5 p4p fighters in the world, now it seems that he couldn't beat anyone of note. I wonder what happened to the guy. Did Vic just take his soul?
I moved out of my house (about time, being 22 and all), and have been busy with a bunch of ****. I still try to get on every once in a while, but I'm just tired of arguing about all these major events. I've heard enough about them already, and no one seems to be interested in talking about the fights that don't get a lot of coverage.
