He might love boxing but he is looking at dollar signs. I rather there be more promoters in boxing but already as example 50 cent with all his money and fame couldn't do anything great for the boxers that he promoted. I think JZ tried to unsuccessfully.

They were unsuccessful, because they really don't know boxing. They promoted boxers with names and quite a few career fights. To be a successful promoter it takes more than that. You really have to invest in a fighter early in their career. This takes being able to forsee greatness. It's tough to invest in a fighter that has already shown levels of greatness....Because at this stage, they are most likely already into their decline.

Says who? The Brother is a living legend! Can you imagine in they freed "El Chapo" and he became a Boxing Promoter?

People know who El Chapo is. Can’t say the same about this guy.

Let see if he is successful. Unfortunately in the boxing business those high profile promoters have close relationships with sanctioning bodies, networks and even some states and countries. They can easily freeze out other promoters that are not connected or don't play ball with them.

Yeah it’s had to get a seat at the table alongside the big dogs like Haymon, Arum, Hearn, DLH, Dibella, ect. J Prince is a guy that has had extreme success but he’s a manager and only works with a selected few.

There's also a movie named "Kill the Messenger," about the journalist who broke the story on the relationship between the CIA, the Contras, and the Drug trade in the U.S. People who know those stories, know this man! Basically if you're American, and you know who El Chapo is, there's a 50/50 chance you also know who Freeway Ricky Ross is. If you know the rappers "Rick Ross," and "Freeway," there's a 75% chance you know who is the Real Rick Ross!
