    Joe Smith Jr. wants to fight Artur Beterbiev, but he doesn't think the feeling is mutual. The WBO light heavyweight champion contends that neither Beterbiev nor his trainer, Marc Ramsey, want the Russian knockout artist to face him in a much-discussed light heavyweight title unification fight. Montreal's Ramsey also trained top contender Eleider Alvarez for an elimination match Smith won by ninth-round technical knockout in August 2020 at MGM Grand Conference Center in Las Vegas.

      "I believe him yo"......If the Nail with his size,power and twice the skill got stopped,Joe more than likely would suffer the same fate. With his power and Beters less than stellar defense,you never know though. Beters been hurt from less....

                  I don’t think the nail has more power than smith. He is a zillion times more skilled though.

                              Why would Beterbiev not fight Smith? It's too easy a fight for him probably, although another title. But Bivol and Canelo would be the bigger fights he would love.

                                  It's Arum's fault, plus other factors. Beterbiev doesn't duck anyone. He's a mean, lean, killing machine, and fears no one.
