Canelo jumping up to Cruiserweight for an easy title grab against some dude no one’s ever heard of, but it’s gonna get a bunch of praise as a big accomplishment.

These are embarrassments to boxing. And maybe if we had more compelling match ups, match ups that fans ask for, then there wouldn’t be an audience for exhibitions and showcase bouts, but this is where we are at.

It was an embarrassment and sad that a once great fighter had to resort to exhibitions because of going broke. The embarrassment was on Lewis and less on the sport.
