Right now, if I were promoting a heavyweight, I’d be salivating to get a matchup against Ortiz. Ortiz looked old and the broadcast team correctly pointed out his legs weren’t there. He bailed himself out with his power. A top 20 heavyweight could blitz through him on a good night, and turn themselves into a contender.

That one shot in particular behind Ortiz’s head caused severe damage and was an influential factor in the fight, which should’ve been called a foul.
I respectfully disagree, I thought it was borderline but clean.

When I was younger you could hit me flush with a bat in the chin and I would've laugh at you. Nowadays, a mosquito passes close to my chin and I am looking for a wall to lean on.

I think Ortiz is already there.

Ortiz is not gonna fight a top 20 HW, he knows he's at the end stage of his career, just looking for a few more big fights. Don't know if he can't get himself a Championship shot with Joshua doing constant rematches and who knows what Fury's plan is if he can't get Usyk.

I doubt Ortiz beats Usyk or Fury. I think his best bet is to stay busy and hope Ruiz regains some stock in his next fight and he lands a payday against Ruiz.

Maybe Ortiz can Fight Arreola in the mean time.

Respect to Ortiz for making a living to support his family but his legs look unbalanced and weak at times. Credit to him for powering through. May be laying Hashish (cash) down against him next time.

Ortiz was a -350 favorite. Most people said he'd win. However, they are right that he is old as **** and looked terrible.

Don't bend over like an ass and show your opponent the back of your head, then you won't be hit in the back of the head.

                    Legal hit
