He was signed to fight Andrade. Andrade back out last minute

Oops sorry wrong Charlo. Jermell always wants that smoke...

He's clearly scared of taking risks at the moment. Funny part is he might be waiting for a year or more for nothing. That in itself is an embarrassing scenario for him.

That's why he is where he is and all these other guys have become stagnant or are regressing.

His case is worse than Thurman's, if you want comparisons.
No injuries, no health issues, valid fights are available, nothing.
No rhyme no reason why he prefers to stay inactive.

Well that's what I thought but everybody keeps telling me Devin Haney is NOT a champion at 135 because he was emailed or gifted a title. Jermall got his 160 title the exact same way so I can only assume if one Boxer who was gifted a title and then at a later date had it demoted then the same goes to anybody who got their WBC title the same way.

Just to state I would be happy to call both Haney and Charlo a WBC world champ, it's not me who shifted the goal posts.

These young guys living like millionaires not realizing when those checks stop coming it’s hard to go back.
Tyson and Floyd both made hundreds of millions and both had issues burning through money and the IRS on their asses.
The greats take risks when they are young fighters then call their own shots.
Boxing is a dying sport because these guys get one or two decent wins then want easy touches while also getting top dollar. Have to earn your place in the game.

It’s so frustrating watching this generation of fighters get in the ring once or twice a year, mostly once.

                      Charlo, Benavidez, GGG, Andrade, etc.
