Peoples choice heavyweight matches for 2022

These are arguably the best and proven top eight heavyweights today. March-May would be the best months of boxing possibly ever. I want to see them all. Joshua needs to step aside from the rematch to make it happen. Fury needs to drop the belt, and challenge Joshua and Usyk to scrap the rematch so Uysk can fight Fury. Joshua knows he will probably lose the Usyk rematch also. Whyte 100% knows he will lose to Fury so take the 20% offer or move on.

    Fury vs Usyk: April 2022

Fury could be too big for Usyk and that could be bad for him because Usyk has proven with Joshua that he can fight at heavyweight, although Joshua never really tagged him like he did Ruiz so his ability to stay in a fight after getting bombed has not been proven. Usyk's size and skill could be too agile for Fury. Someone he has never seen. Fury looked vulnerable the last Wilder fight, giving the awkward Wilder too many chances to hit him. This fight would prove how skillful Fury really is.

    Joshua vs Wilder: May 2022

Both have lost twice recently and the loser should probably retire unless it was a controversial fight. I picture a brutal ending for Joshua if he were to lose. The winner would have the option to fight the winner of one of the other matches. A win for either fighter would elevate their status in boxing history. No fan can say they don't want to see this one.

    Ruiz vs Whyte: April 2022

Ruiz has not been stopped in two fights with Joshua and one with Parker. No doubt he is a test for any up and coming fighter. A win over Whyte would leave no doubt he should challenge one of the winners. Likewise a win for Whyte would allow him something to achieve that Joshua and Parker could not do giving him a shot at one of the winners. Who doesn't want to watch this fight.

    Parker vs Joyce: March 2022

Joyce needs to prove himself and a win should allow him a big fight. Parker is a durable seasoned veteran and would be a great test for him and would get him a big fight if they can beat Joyce. Parker and Joyce should match up well.

I think the one fight we need to see is Fury vs Usyk. They’re clearly #1 and #2. That fight stands above the rest.

Wilder vs AJ has always been a fight I’ve wanted to see, both dangerous, both limited and both vulnerable. Would definitely be a shootout and exciting while it lasts.

The other two fights aren’t bad matchups but they don’t massively interest me in all honesty. The likes of Parker, Ruiz, Whyte are proven C level fighters IMO. They’d be competitive with one another but are not really a threat to the Fury’s, Usyk’s, Wilder’s etc.

The HW division is so shallow outside of the top 4. I’d probably rather just see the fresher contenders mix it up. Joyce vs Hrgovic, Sanchez vs Yoka, Anderson vs Jalolov etc.

        - - AJ finshes what he started on Usyk the first fight, thus the 3rd match, after which both will have proven to have better records of defense and popularity than Furry or Deyonce . A swan song or two later both retire richer and more credentialed than any post Wlad fighter to leave the shot Furry and Wilder to scavenge what scraps are left after they weakened the hvy division with their 3 Ring farce.

Rather Hrgovic than Parker tbh but Parker-Joyce is a fine fight I wouldn't ***** about.

              Good fights.

              I go with

              Fury winning UD
              Wilder by Tko
              Ruiz tko
              Joyce close maybe controversial decision

Ruiz and Parker are the only fights who went the distance with Joshua, and now Usyk. Ruiz has not fought enough to be eliminated from the top fighters. Durability is a highly rated quality to have as a heavyweight.

Unfortunately they are probably too good to be true. It all needs to start with Joshua and then Fury. After that the promoters can make it happen.

They are all good matchups so I cannot make a call on anyone of them. It would really clear the air in the heavyweight division if these fighters could be matched up.
