Except for Tank Davis who has his own trainer and doesn't spend as much time at the Mayweather gym but even then he did spend more time in that gym for his last fight, and his power was minuscule. That gym is a like a vampire, squeezing power of their fighters or stagnating it at the very least.
Floyd Mayweather, Mickey Bey, Devon Haney and the rest of them get developed nice as boxers but that boxer/puncher myth **** coming from that gym is a hot pile of manure. All that tap, tap, tap mitt work and tap, tap, tap bag work ain't developing no power. Look at GGG, Canelo, Betervbiev hitting the mitts or the heavy bags. Or go back and look at Tyson and Foreman leaving dents in heavy bags.
Devin Haney crying about his power and being obsessed about it...dude is athletic as ****, faster than anybody, doing all that plyometric crap with personal strength and training coaches, yet a weaker puncher than little JoJo Diaz. Somebody teach this Haney prodigy how to hit mitts and heavy bags with purpose.
