That didnt answer my question bro. How is Charlo more credible than Benavidez? He has literally never fought a legitimate fighter. Come on Brandon Addams and Dennis Hogan. Dervy was his toughest fight and be isnt exactly the world beater he has been made out to be and Charlo couldn't finish him. At least Benavidez has highlight reel wins in a weight class he is weight drained in.

Why are you even taking those general comments from Team Canelo? Does it really matter? We’ve got industry acknowledgement at the WBC convention for Makabu. Then we’ve recently got Beterbiev and Joe Smith. Does it really matter hay even more names below all that are mentioned? Canelo just became Undisputed at 168. He doesn’t have to prove anything. It’s better Benavidez fights cAnelo at 175 and even has a belt in that time so that Canelo would have a 2 Division Champ to confront and add to his resumes. Benavidez would be stronger and more dangerous at 175.

The Charlo fight is a great one and one I've wanted to see for a long time but the disrespect for Benavidez is not cool, the dude might've lost his titles but is undefeated and has a great KO ratio, not only that he is consensus #2 after Canelo in the division, not liking this assessment from Reynoso to be honest.

The "disrespect" for Benavidez, as you put it, pales in comparison to the disrespect David Benavidez's father displays toward Canelo and his team at every opportunity. Here are some things to ponder. David at 6'2" is a huge 168 lbs who has great difficulty making that weight. He is basically a weight bully feasting class C fighter and on rare occasions, he fights a B-level opponent and should have moved up to light heavyweight a couple of years ago. He is skillful and is busy in the ring but does not have elite-level power. He certainly does not hit as hard as Golovkin. His defense needs loads of work. He does not change levels nor does he move his head enough to avoid counter shots. A Canelo fight would be interesting, but David Benavidez is far from being the most challenging opponent for Canelo.
