So it goes to a purse bid on what split? 80/20? How does that get Whyte more than he's (supposedly) being offered now?

This is why boxing needs a different purse if you win or lose. They don't want to give Dillian $10mil? Guarantee $7mil and give him $12mil if he wins. Boxing payouts are idiotic.

What does that have to do with anything? Ruiz has barely fought anyone. Lost to the only decent fighters he’s fought. And lets be honest, was getting washed and outboxed by Joshua while “in-shape” until Joshua opened himself up to finish the pudding. That’s why the rematch was such a no brainer.

In the WBC, you do get more if you win. Let the process play out. Anything Hearn and Arum say is a waste of time. The arbiter will rule, they'll have a purse bid and life will go on.

The purse bids aren’t going to be 80/20 .

The purse bids actually don’t matter after this because Fury is going to dodge this fight altogether and take an easy touch to go into the Undisputed one .

Arums goal isn’t making the fight it’s to dissuade Whyte from perusing it ,fighting Whyte isn’t on Furys calendar it never was he admitted it a long time ago nothing more to really discuss beyond that ,smarter posters will see it fir what it is .Whyte can make 4 million on his own in the U.K ,guaranteeing him 5 million is laughable it’s chump change to what the fight does in the U.K with Whyte involvement.

And this is the second time not the first time the WBC ordered them to fight where Fury ran from it .

too bad the gypo only wants to fight total no hopers until his next big payday comes along

I hope Usyk unifies against Whyte and makes the BELTLESS gypsy diva work hard to earn a shot at him, It's what he'd deserve

More deserving and ducking are two different things. Whyte deserves the fight but to say Fury is ducking him is asinine.

As coked up as Tyson fury has been these past few months, whyte should say “ok, make it, 4 week camp” fight in February. Tyson seems to be spiraling but hiding it better this time, the only footage I’ve seen of him of late that doesn’t seem to be during a coke high is that family trip he took to Florida. Wife probably put her foot down.

You can't really know that yet. It's going to be up to the arbiter.

The WBC confirmed publicly it was Whyte who refused to fight the first time.

And this time, it is Whyte refusing to fight under the ordered terms. If you want to argue he's justified in trying to get the ordered split overturned, fine, but Fury is willing to fight under the current order and Whyte isn't. Whyte is the one delaying the fight.

Neither alternative is remotely serious. Ruiz isn’t going to be able to get down below beluga size to be even remotely effective, and Helenius is quickly turning into a Viking statue.

I’d pick a fit Fury to handle Whyte inside ten. Fat and half-sober, it goes the distance. Maybe he wants to coast and par-tee again — he can always blame “mental illness.”
