The people who actually lose money is Arum because he has to pay Fury a certain amount and Helenius doesn’t actually bring any interest,it’s nonsense .
Even if Whyte wins the arbitration Fury can still vacate which is definitely what Arum will push for. So where’s the upside fighting some other stiff for far less than the 5.5, which is only a starting point. With Eddie there’s a chance they can probably squeeze another 1.5 out of Arum and Fury. It’s not perfect but it’s better than nothing.

He can fight a bum for 2m, win the fight and get a mega fight worth almost 15m against AJ even if AJ loses the rematch against Usyk.

Whyte with a belt vs any version of AJ even with 5 losses is a huge fight in London.

Helenius is a bum. Chisora slapped him around the ring for fcck sake.

They just threw Ruiz name in there to make it look like he’s interested in the fight. We know Arum isn’t interested in doing any type of deal with Ruiz and Haymon is preparing Ruiz for a showdown against Wilder. Helenius is the fight they want next.

Whyte won’t care ,Fury then loses his own bargaining chip without a WBC belt . In the end it’s not Hearn bleeding money from Whyte it’s Arum and ESPN with Fury . Hearns always willing to negotiate, everyone else that comes across him, not so much . It was very clear Srum had no intentions of talking amounts over 5.5 if you watched th3 entire interview .

Whyte is not in the driver's seat. Whyte made only 350K for the Povetkin rematch, according to documents he personally filed with the WBC and BBBoC.

People said the same crap with Joshua, when Whyte cried for years to get a rematch, finally gets the rematch, and then wants 8 million - so even Hearn himself turned his back.

Everyone is confusing what the split is. The SPLIT Whyte is fighting for with the WBC, has to do with a purse bid.

Let's say, for argument's sake, it goes to purse bid, and the WBC gives Whyte a 30% slice. Arum wins the rights with a 20 million bid - which is very high for a purse bid - that's only 6 million to Whyte. If it goes to a purse bid, Arum's side has no obligation to make any other concessions - in terms of giving Whyte a slice of PPV, gate, merch, etc. He gets his 6 million and nothing more.

and still a much better fight and more deserving of a shot than the blob Ruiz or a shot to **** Helenius
too bad the gypo only wants to fight total no hopers until his next big payday comes along

I hope Usyk unifies against Whyte and makes the BELTLESS gypsy diva work hard to earn a shot at him, It's what he'd deserve

Whyte isn’t worth 10 mil even if he had 10 mil in his pocket.

Fair enough. I’m not from London so I can’t speak to that.

I like the ruiz fight. Helenius while still punches like a Mule his conditioning is never what it once was.
