It was never actually determined that plaster of paris was used. The lab just found traces of two chemical components that is used in making plaster of paris. He was officially suspended for using illegal objects in his handwraps which is basically anything other than gauze & tape.

Sadly controversy breeds attention and publicity. When he returns he'll still be more popular and a bigger draw than guys like Shane Mosley & Williams who he lost to.

margo made a mistake got caught and sentenced..fine..but dont people deserve a second chance???im glad some people on here arnt judges cause people would never get out of jail....this type of thinking is why ex-cons have problems getting a damn job after serving their time

Yeah, I see it that way too. A lot of people wanted Tyson to never set foot in a boxing ring again after Holyfield II, but they still tuned in/bought the PPVs/watched with keen interest. It's just a human thing to be intrigued about bad ****.

The world will be watching Margarito's every (legal) move, and he'll have a lot of drive to make it back to where he was prior to meeting Mosley - i.e. that feared machine who just keeps coming at you. Actually, he could very well go on a killing spree like Tyson did after the Douglas and Holyfield II fights.

Regardless, I myself will be interested to see what he does upon his return. But until then, I want him to sit out his punishment like a good boy until February.
