And that's why I would never be fully confident in Froch, were I a fan of his. Don't get me wrong, I'm a big Taylor fan, and he did what he needed to do to win the fight, but he's not going to be able to pull out miraculous 12th round KOs while behind on the cards.

Some of his fans seem to disregard the fact that he keep his hands low all the time, due to his good chin. They say, well no one has knocked him out yet. They seem to forget that KO's aren't the only way to win a fight.

Kessler was rusty - maybe more than expected ??. Perdomo actually did very well. Going forward, very active and putting on pressure and a high tempo to the fight. Think the occasion got to him though. Positive thing -Kessler did adapt. When he opened up, he was so powerful and strong. A bit out of control when he tried to let out 11 months of frustration - but the "Warrior" and "Hunger" was maybe more present than ever ??
Will Kessler be sharper, more tuned and precise in 2 months - hell yes!!

Yeah, he was rusty, but not too bad for nearly a year off. He seemed a bit put off by Perdomo's aggression and southpaw style. Plus, he did get wild when he had Perdomo against the ropes.

All in all, it was what he needed, though, he could've benefited from more rounds.

No, but me and the wife planning to go to Parken Copenhagen in the spring to watch Kessler vs. Froch. Should be a hell of a fight in front of 20-40000 spectators

Personally i was very pleased to see his hunger and killer instinct intact - or maybe more present than ever ...... He will enter the super 6 very motivated !!

Well southpaws - "ain't a vikings cop of mjød" and next opponent is Ward ?
                A tough fight a head

("mjød" is a kind of beer the vikings drank - do it has a English name ?)

Mead? I know mead comes from honey, and was popular in Northern Europe and Scandanavia.

Ward will be tough, but Kessler will take it.

You're lucky to be going to the fight at Parken. Too bad I'm from the States, or I'd be there.

Thing is, he only stepped up to fighting world class or near world class fighters two fights ago - and was able to get away with things before that which he knows he can't afford to keep doing now. Plus he got stage fright in the early rounds against Taylor due to it being his first major fight outside the UK. I'm pretty sure you'll see a steady improvement in each of his next few fights.
