He was rusty, but got it done. The article says he dropped Perdomo with a nice shot to the head in the 3rd, LMAO, why would you say that if you'd watched it, clearly he hadn't. It barely hit Perdomo's shoulder whilst he was already falling from being off balance.
He will need to react to peoples styles better in the future. He's still favourite and very good, but for a viking warrior he often looks very startled in the breaks, his eyes say "what's going on".Comment

I don't think American fighters are garbage compared to Kessler. I like Kessler and I think he is the favorite to win the tournamen. But, I will not consider Dawson Garbage compare to Kessler, or even fighters like Ward and Dirrell. So lets not get carried away here.Comment

Kessler is a very good fighter there's no doubt about that, but I don't understand why some fans think this was such a big win and amazing that he looked impressive? Isn't this what most people thought the fight would look like?? I mean Perdomo is not a worldclass boxer...far from it. It was good that he got some of that ring rust off. There's even a thread asking if Kessler should be ranked in the top 10 P4P because of his win today....For God's sake calm down.Comment

I'm not surprised to hear this....Who the fuck is Gusmyr Perdomo? Anyway good for Kessler....I also think he'll go on to win the SMW tourney, he's simply the best there is between 160-175 aside from Chad Dawson IMO. his inactivity worries me a bit, I guess worries is the wrong word because I'm really not a fan of his but it's the only thing that threatens him going forward IMO. I also like Dirrell to surprise some people, upset Froch and go far in this tourney....but Kessler is the baddest ass around there if he fights to the level he is capable of.....Comment
