Being an undefeated champ means little if they haven't beaten anybody. Julius Indongo was undefeated at one point because most of his fights were in Africa... and then he lost like 4 straight fights by KO when he started fighting good opponents.

Also, being the #2 ranked CW means nothing in a talent depleted division. It's a terrible division to start with, especially since Usyk and Gassiev moved to HW. Now the only legitimate fighter at that weight is Briedis.

I mean look at the CW champs right now: Briedis is good, then you have Makabu who got KOed twice,Arsen Goulamirian who has no notable wins and who no one has heard of and Lawrence Okolie who has 17 fights. Is that good? Of course not.

I don't understand how the same people that call Indongo, Postol, and Gamboa bum fights can then turn around and say that Smith, Plant, and BJS are world beaters.

So it’d make you happy if I went through the entire history of boxing and criticized every boxers resume? You don’t care when I criticize Anthony Joshua, or Pac, or Wilder or any other boxer. Why? Of course... Canelo is just doing what Broner did. He's hopping from division to division fighting the weakest opponents that have belts so he can claim he was a multiple division world champion. Only in a sport like boxing can you pull shenanigans like that off.

At CW, there's only one universally recognized champion and that's Briedis. The rest are bums. Especially Makabu.

The reason people want to see Canelo fight Charlo, Andrade, Bivol, Benavidez etc. is because they know those are going to be the toughest matchups for him. Canelo knows this as well.
