So what if he was getting touched. Browne is a natural light heavyweight, much bigger than Canelo and couldn't even budge Beterbiev. Of course someone with the handle mexiFistology is going to favorite Canelo against anyone short of the top 3 heavyweights but that doesn't change the fact that Beterbiev will hit Canelo with heavier shots than he's ever felt before. At the same time, I'm not confident Canelo will agree to fight Beterbiev until he's old and near retirement.

My thoughts exactly. We've seen that before with Canelo's best opposition. They have all been old and past their prime. I'm impressed by Canelo unifying the SMW division but it was ripe for the picking with a mediocre top 5.

Someone didnt watch the fight.... re-watch it, Browne must have landed 2-3 clean power punches the whole fight seriously. None of them even budged Beterbiev.

Exactly the reason he's leap frogging 175 to cherry pick the lowest hanging fruit at cruiser...which will coincidentally/conveniently be dropped back to 190lb for that fight,yea go ahead and bookmark that. Beating the best fighter at 175(Beter or Bivol) is a FAR more impressive accomplishment than picking the belt off a below average cruiser imo.
