Correction Floyd said Cotto was too green, Arum never said such thing.

Cotto brought no money then. Also at 140 Cotto looked very bad and vulnerable.

******, if he looked so bad and vulnerable why wouldn't Hatton take the fight. Also Cotto was getting seven figure paychecks while he was still at 140 and I'm sure this fight would have made both lots of money. Hatton just knew he couldn't beat Cotto it's that simple.

I always thought it was Arum, but I guess we learn something new everyday. But I know Arum said when Floyd bought out of his contract with Top Rank. He said he would fight Margo if Arum gave him $10 mill to fight Cotto and Hatton, $12 mill for Mosley, and a lot more for Hoya. Arum said there wasn't enough money for it. Ill try to find the article but it was an ESPN article

Even a weight drained Cotto at 140 beats Hatton. Hatton got no chance vs Cotto at 140 or 147.

If it's true then Hatton probably made the right move. He probably would never have gotten the Mayweather and Pacquiao fights.
