Whyte would be nothing more than a tune up for Fury.

If Whyte is a legitimate challenger he should take the 20% and fight. The problem I see is that Whyte knows he is nothing more than a tune up for Fury and wants to grab as much money as he can because he has no confidence in winning and moving on to bigger fights, or a rematch with Fury because he doesn't see himself winning. Remember the Whyte that turned down the rematch with Joshua in 2019 and allowed Ruiz to happily step in and win the title. Ruiz had the confidence that he was a legitimate challenger and backed it up in the ring. I don't see the same from Whyte.

Fury should not waste time with Whyte if he doesn't take the 20% now. Drop the belt and challenge Joshua to walk away from the rematch so he can fight Usyk now. It is the peoples choice.

Joshua needs to fight Wilder, someone he has a better chance of beating. The winner can move on to a bigger fight with the Fury vs Usyk winner and the loser probably would retire. Wilder has talked of retiring which leaves him no respect in boxing history other than losing to Fury and a draw which most thought Fury won. A win over Joshua gives him something to retire on. A win for Joshua would give him confidence to fight Fury.

These fights would leave no doubt who is on top of the heavyweight division today.
