I highly doubt he would say he doesn't want to get paid if Jake beats him, which may happen, the way Chavez jr has fought the last how many years.
This could be like when he wanted to bet his purse on himself against Canelo. Sr talked him out of that and might have to do it again.

As bad as Jr is at this point in his career, if he moderately trains he would beat Paul. Jr has showed in the past stamina and chin but sloppy training habits and lifestyle has made him a joke. I don't even understand how he still has fans.

Remember the 12th round against Sergio? Wasn't that exciting? Was that more than 10 years ago?

This would be the only way to shed Chavez Jr.’s bum status. As bad as he’s been he still has world class fighter talent and going up in weight would be a problem.
Doubt Paul touches this fight. He’s pulling IFC fighters that aren’t strikers and acting like he’s doing something in boxing.
I’d probably pay for this one.

If Julio Cesar Chavez Jr beats Jake Paul, then he surpasses his dad, it's as simple as that. What a fight in the making this is! Nash out.

NOOOOOOO!!! This is the one boxer who is so lazy and sucks so bad that Paul may actually be able to beat.

Chavez, please do us all Mexican fans a favor. RETIRE NOW. We don’t want to add to Pauls list of want to be boxers he’s whipped.

I would bet on Jake Paul. And he has good size advantage too.
