Dude is a boxer so every time he gets into the ring you wonder is this the time when he gets his ass handed to him. I would rather watch a Jake Paul fight than to watch Canelo or Tank fight bums who have no chance of winning. I love the sport more than I love any particular boxer per se. Due to all the BS in the sport we never get to see the fights we want to see so I say Jake Paul keep up the good work. At least he gives us fights were the outcome isn't a forgone conclusion before the bell rings.

Jake don't need us or our approval, he has Millions and Millions of his own fans. What the kid is doing and what I like is that he is putting real boxers on his Undercard giving them Great Paydays. He helped make Serrano a bigger star within a year, something DiBella been trying to do FOR YEARS and couldn't. So yeah, boxing fans don't have to like it, he can keep knocking out UFC Guys and will Draw Big and do bigger and better PPV Numbers than all of our Favorite Pro Fighters

The Paul’s are entertainers. Idk why it’s so hard for these elitist fans to get it.
Boxing is about entertainment at its core. A lot of these fans turning their nose up to the Paul’s, idk how they don’t laugh at the little footage they have seen of these fighters of the past. They look goofy, uncoordinated and about as bad as the Paul bros.
Ali’s mouth, his character, and his hilarious and witty interviews, made him as famous as his in-ring performances made him.
Nobody cared about who Butterbean fought. He was entertaining. He was fun to watch. It was amusing/entertaining.
Tyson became famous by annihilating journeymen off the streets/couch. Til this day, nobody cares about Tyson losing to every prime HOFer he lost to.
Wilder vs Fury didn’t sell a good amount of PPV’s for nothing. Fans were intrigued to see if Wilder can get the KO or if Fury will be too much again. It’s entertaining.
People are attracted to entertaining, charisma, characters. Boxing’s “characters”, regardless if they are the greatest or the worst, make the sport.

What is lost on a lot of fighters today, is that fans don't care THAT much about if you have a 0 in your loss column.
They want to see entertaining fights. And a big way to get entertaining fights, is to generate buzz between you and your opponent pre-fight. Look at all the fights between the 4 kings a while ago. They were popular, not because they were undefeated - in fact none of them were. But they were popular because there was intrigue with all of those guys, and with them fighting each other.
Look at Brook-Khan. People want to watch that fight for the purest reasons as far as enjoying fights goes - you want to see 2 guys with some trash talk and buzz and history mix it up. No different than if 2 guys from your neighborhood were beefing and finally decided to set up a fight. You would be wild about it, and it would be must see TV for you.
I'm not a Floyd hater but that's the one thing I really hold against him - he ruined the sport today for fans because these dumbass fighters try to follow his blueprint. And they don't realize what it is that fans really want to see.
Tyson figured it out; Ali figured it out. Many others did as well. I wish guys in this generation would figure it out. Hell Broner figured it out way better than most of these schmucks.Comment
