If he was American? He would not be getting the opportunities he is getting. Chisora has benefited from being based in the UK, having UK boxing fans as his main sporting fan base, and having Eddie Hearn as a promoter etc

All of that in combination with his style, passion and effort 'Gets him opportunities'. I agree Chisora is a very good prize fighter, he has had awesome career.

In america, I think once you are not world class level 'You automatically get relegated from the big fights'.

But in saying that, I have always compared Shawn Porter to Derek Chisora. Although Shawn Porter in his style is slightly more sophisticated.

Porter pretty much like Chisora, did not really win that many fights at elite level 'But would always produce good performances, and push most fighters to their limits win or lose'.

And because of all of this, Porter would always get the offer of big fights.

Lol, in Stiverne and Arreola got WBC title shots in America.

Don`t you tell me they were better than Chisora.

Chisora would be able to beat Stiverne for vacant WBC title.

Being a professional boxer, and based in the UK 'You will get more opportunities'.

Because of the sporting fan base, and promoters.

Stiverne and Arreola as a whole, have not had the opportunities, big fights and career that Derek Chisora has had etc

Derek Chisora has also fought for the World Title, the WBC Heavyweight title vs Vitali Kiltschko.
