    Mayweather is a fraud

The guy is a cherry picker he once could say he was the best of the best but look at his last few fights. He fought Mitchell who was old, worn out, and hadn't beaten a top fighter in years. He then took on Judah and Baldo both guys are overrated and in Judah's case a wasted talent. He then beats joto the hypejob of the decade and supposedly becomes this huge star even though 99% came to see joto. Then he beats Hatton at ww which we all saw how terrible he looked in the one fight at that weight vs Collazo. Now the cherry picking legacy continues by going after the lw champ. Why has he dodged PW, Margs and Cotto for so long? If he wants to be the big boy at ww why not fight real ww's not blown up lws or faded/overrated jwws. Floyd used to be a legend like during his lw/jww reign where he wanted the best and was avoided by most. Then he gets to ww and loses his desire to fight anyone that's a threat. If he's so ****ing good why not prove it against the best wws? I'll tell you why it's because he's living off his rep at lower weights and doesn't want to be exposed as a blown up fighter that cherry picked certain people that could showcase his talent. Floyd is still a great fighter but at ww he's a total fraud.

    floyd is a welterweight.

before floyd retired, he fought a 140lbs fighter
now that hes back, he will be fighting a 135lbs fighter
on his next fight, i expect him to pick a 130lbs fighter

De la Hoya had the same thing said about him when he challenged Manny.

what an original thread.......discrediting his hatton win-floyd was the first to beat him, baldo was the linear champ..but i guess beats "the real"champ these days dont mean anything...judah was a very solid win..but once again since its floyd it isnt good enough..then beating oscar at 154 for yet another title-oh thats meaningless..gotcha

I wouldn't call Floyd a fraud. Sure, you can complain that he hasn't fought certain fighters you want him to fight, but you can say that about just about anyone. It is a business after all. I may not agree with everything he's done, and I can't call myself a huge fan of him. But I think he's done well for the sport. Like it or not, he's generated a lot of money and has helped boxing get some needed exposure. You've gotta respect that.
