wrong. fans already know that hatton was overrated even before the pbf-hatton fight. even floyd himself said that ricky hatton is overrated

      I would say

good you beat pac after coming off a loss against cotto. so according to your logic you beat cotto's left overs. Now will you please fight someone in your own weight class? you basically had two high profile gimme fights against Marquez and pac.

Juan Manuel Marquez has a single-minded determination to avenge his questionable 12 round split decision defeat at the hands of Manny Pacquiao and is using his September 19th fight against Floyd Mayweather as a tool to get another shot, his 3rd, at fighting Pacquiao. It’s unfortunate that Marquez, 36, has to go through Mayweather to get another shot at Pacquiao, because Marquez’s fight last year with Pacquiao appeared to be a badly scored bout, much like the Juan Diaz fight against Paulie Malignaggi.

To many boxing experts that saw the fight, they thought that Marquez should have been given the decision by at least two rounds. However, Pacquiao ended up being awarded the decision. And instead of giving a rematch to Marquez to clear up the controversy, Pacquiao moved on to fights against David Diaz, Oscar De La Hoya and Ricky Hatton.
Marquez knows that this may be his best and only chance at forcing Pacquiao to fight him, because unless Marquez beats Mayweather on September 26th, Pacquiao will have an excuse not to fight Marquez. Manny certainly won’t opt to fight Marquez if he loses, because Pacquiao won’t want to face a fighter that was just beaten.

And by the time that Marquez picks up two or three wins to get beyond the defeat, Pacquiao could possibly be out of boxing as he runs into the sunset chasing what may end up being an impossible dream of being the president of the Philippines. To prevent that scenario from happening, Marquez is going to have to beat Mayweather and he’s going to have to do it in an impressive fashion as well.

and I agree, with no disrespect to the other great fighters in this decade..but people will find EVERY reason to not give the man his just due. Some say that they would give him probs NOW, but afterwards it tends to be a different story. I have seen it happen on here...so many times.

props for what? hypothetically beating pacquiao, marquez, mosley, cotto, & whoever you feel like thinking of?

Cmon brah, if you wanna talk like you are the greatest fighter of all time & act like a jerk be prepared to catch flack when the best fighter on your resume is corrales, old oscar, hatton, gatti, castillo, judah, & baldomir.

How da **** do you become the fighter of the decade let alone the best of all time with that resume? But everything ends with his undefeated record right?

Do me a favor, lets stick to boxing, name me a truly great fighter mr.counterfeit cash has beaten. Name me one. The answer you get we'll see if that is worth all time greatness & fighter of the decade.

First of all, I was saying that some people ON NSB who say that they would give him props for beating someone IF they fought are the same ones that tend to SWITCH WHEN it actually happens. That is what I am talking about, sir. I have personally seen it happen. That is the gripe that I have with certain posters. They say, "well he has to do this", then when it gets done, they INSTANTLY discredit it.

SINCE he is fighting now, I will not rank him nor give him fighter of the decade NOW. But if he beats Manny (who many may believe is the fighter of the decade, which is fine), I say that he is the fighter of the decade. I personally say that BECAUSE Manny is the only other fighter who I would say has THE chance to be named fighter of the decade. Their fight would settle that argument IMO.

I think all of the Floyd haters would **** themselves out of rage and die of a stroke, which would wipe out 50% of the forum.

Google it *****'s stroke would be the most severe.
