smh. Even iron jawed rudenko was trying to quit at every opportunity. reff warned him to stop holding and then he just held on until the DQ. bizarre as he was actually landing whenever he threw at Sirenko, who doesnt look like much. i know juggernutter thinks hes the future GOAT juggernaut666
Let’s hope your claim of the guy to take over the heavyweight division doesn’t need a gift win again .
Why!? He may celebrate how he chooses. The man was on two day notice and no one was giving him a chance. It wasn't like his opposition was so hurt he needed immediate emergency care.
That wasn't Nonito Donaire running around the ring in delight. I'm not a fan of aggressive celebrations right over a downed fighter, regardless of who's doing it - only threw in the Creteil reference because I spent a few weeks there about ten years back, and it was pretty fecking grim with people to match. Also, commentators weren't giving him a chance because he wasn't the house fighter, but on paper it definitely looked pick'em with Sadjo more experienced at the weight
The commentary if Sadjo had been stopped and the Brit was celebrating:
Commentator: “Look at him go! Stopped his opponent and now doing push-ups in the ring! He looks like he could go another 12 rounds and the crowd just loves it!”
Bellew: ”Exactly, and you know, he’s earned this celebration. He’s a good lad, and everything that he’s been through, you just love to see the young man get the victory and just savor the moment.”
Someone said it perfectly earlier. These two (Chisora Parker) would be journeymen in any other HW era. But one of these two could land a mandatory after this fight. How sad of a state is the division in?
"This is what British boxing is about, you don't see this in America." Bellew, referring to Sweet Caroline. "We've changed the game." can't make this **** up
Parker, Chisora Scorecard BoxingScene Live - Live on DAZN this Saturday from AO Arena, Manchester, JOSEPH PARKER and DEREK CHISORA get back in the ring to settle the score once and for all, after the New Zealand heavyweight won their first clash by split decision in May 2021.
