If Canelo really wants to try his luck at cruiser let's see this one instead of Makabu. Dorticos isn't a guy who got the **** kicked out of him at the mayweather gym like Makabu, fact he just beat Tabiti. This would be a great win for Canelo if he could pull it off and then could lead to fights like Breidis and maybe Usyk for goat legacy. Good way to test the waters at cruiser with someone who can punch and has decent skill, not poor skill like mukubu or great skill like Usyk.

It all about the accomplishments I’m pretty sure if Dorticos had a belt Canelo would have went after him but he doesn’t, so at this point Dorticos brings nothing to the table. And it also depends how Canelo looks and feels at CW he might feel like crap and look bad even if he beats Makabu and will realize he has no business at CW or if he looks feels good he might decide to stay there and unify.
But yea Dorticos brings nothing to the table for Canelo at the moment.Comment
